Troop 399 is composed of 50 scouts and 25 registered adults

We are in our 42nd year as a registered unit. In that time over 300 boys have taken advantage of our growing program. While rank advancement is not our number one priority, we are proud to claim 85 of our scouts have attained the rank of Eagle. We have been honored to be acknowledged as District Troop of the Year four times. Our program offers opportunities to young men of all ages; fifth grade through high school.

The Troop is organized into three groupings;

NEW Scouts; boys recently joining Scouts will work together for their first nine months developing many of the basic skills needed to become self sufficient.

EXPERIENCED Scouts; Boys in grades six through eight work together in patrols of 8-10 boys developing higher level skills and moving up the rank trail. Here we stress having the older boys share their skills to train the newer scouts. This is also where they begin to take on leadership skills.

HIGH ADVENTURE Scouts; these are our high school boys that are looking for more excitement, greater adventures and higher levels of leadership. These boys plan their own program based on the interests of the team. They can learn anything from how to finance a car to how to scale a 60ft rock wall.
